Learn the art of soap-making in this introductory class taught by Kathryn Rastelli from Byers Creek Soaps focused on cold process methods.
We’ll walk through the essential steps to confidently create your own natural bars—from understanding oils and lye to safely mixing, pouring, and curing your soap.
You’ll gain a solid foundation in ingredients, tools, and techniques, along with practical tips for customizing recipes with essential oils and natural add-ins. Whether you’re brand new or looking to deepen your existing homestead skills, this class will equip you to make quality, nourishing soap at home.
Participants will leave with the knowledge (and confidence) to begin crafting their own soap at home and a clear understanding of the full soap-making process—from start to cure.
