Philip Winter, owner of Twisted Vine Herbs, is an herbalist and mycologist with a degree in alternative medicine. An expert in herbs and mushrooms, he is a highly sought-after speaker in the Southeast. He is leading a plant walk through the back property behind & around the homestead store. Participants will learn to identify edible and medicinal plants as they encounter them, and also discover ways to use them on their homesteads. You don’t want to miss the adventure!

We recommend participants be at least 13 years of age.

Class will meet rain or shine, but not in thunderstorms. Participants should wear closed toe shoes and long pants, and we advise bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Class Registration Policy:

Class registrations are nonrefundable. In some circumstances, store credit toward a future class may be offered at our discretion. A separate ticket is required for each person attending the class. Due to space and planning needs, only registered participants may be in the classroom, including children, spouses, and other guests.
