The fresh, sweet aroma of Frontier Co-op® Organic Whole Lavender Flowers has relaxing and uplifting qualities that leave users with a sense of calm and balance, making it one of today's most popular scents. Lavender is a gentle, multi-purpose herb.

This product is certified organic, kosher, and non-irradiated. There are no artificial additives or chemicals used at any stage of growing, harvesting and manufacturing.


Due to higher-than-normal temperatures, there has been a strain on the global supply of lavender (Lavendula angustifolia), resulting in shortages in supply. Consequently, there has been an increase in the availability of hybrid and alternative-type flowers, misnaming and adulteration of lavender on the market. After evaluating and rejecting over fifty samples, Frontier has secured organc lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) from Bulgaria. This Bulgarian lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) meets our quality requirements with the exception of color. This supply of lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) was harvested late in the season which has resulted in less-than-optimal color.

 

Directions

To make tea, pour one cup of hot water over 1 teaspoon of organic lavender flowers and steep 3 to 5 minutes.
